ERP INFRASTRUCTURE

Our organization works on a single ERP system, gives us the superiority of efficient cross functional functioning, which unifies and synchronizes our business activities of all the departments working and allows us to typically handle the sales, product development includes Trend and Design manufacturing, logistics includes warehousing and distribution, inventory and quality, human resources and strategic management, etc.

VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY

A means of optimizing Supply Chain performance like just in time in which we, the manufacturer have the distribution centre and responsible for maintaining the retailers inventory levels. If the retailer's gives the access to their inventory data to us, we will be responsible to maintain the inventory level at our Distribution Center according to customer requirements. We will refill the customer Stores or DC's and manufacture the goods according to color and size based on the selling of the products.
Our company extended electronic data (EDI) capabilities to Retailers which captures inventory data and armed with better visibility into sales and more accurate forecasts for long-lead-time products, as a manufacturer, warehouse and distributor used its pre-ordered to replenish the styles and sizes that were selling which results in overall drop in replenishment lead times and the volume of regular-price sales rose, thus reducing the amount of inventory destined for post-season markdowns.
Under VMI, we as a manufacturer and distributor, produce the goods based on the selling.
  • The goal is to have an improvement in Fill Rates from the manufacturer. Also, a decrease in stock outs and a decrease in inventory levels.
  • Planning and ordering cost will decrease due to the responsibility being shifted to the Manufacturer.
